These are 3d printed adapters from flexible TPU filament. See the video on how they bend. If you have a 3d printer, some TPU filament, and time to dial it all in, you can print your own using these files
------------------------------------------------------------------If you don’t though, this is a chance to get these adapters at a reasonable price. These have a little lip that locks into the ring on the winglock valve. It’s a tight enough fit that you can lift the air mattress up when it’s connected but not so tight that you’ll curse it every night while trying to clip it on. I’ve used each type of adapter for 40+ nights over the last year and they function exactly like the rubber one on the thermarest pump sack.
This slips over the schnozzel end of your bag and is a pretty tight fit. You can remove it, but you probably wouldn’t want to remove it every night. It’s designed to be tight enough to leave on there and you won’t have to worry about it falling off. It lets you clip the end of the schnozzel directly onto your winglock valve. It weighs the same as the cap on the schnozzel which you can cut off. If you’re worried about water intrusion just roll up the schnozzel end. Weight is 3 grams.
This is a flat winglock DIY adapter designed for making your own pump sack from a nylofume or trash compactor bag. You cut a hole in the bag, near the bottom I recommend, and then double sided tape the adapter in place. I’ve included 4" of Scotch Extreme foam double sided tape which I’ve used for over 1 year and 40 nights and it’s still stuck on there perfectly. In fact, you probably won’t be able to get the tape off, it’s pretty permanent. Weight is 3 grams for the adapter. The very flimsy piece of tpu around the edges is only there to prevent the tape from sticking out of the sides and sticking to everything inside your bag. So when you get it and think "This is not very durable" you're correct. It's basically a cover.
